Smoked Cheesecake Fund

This has been a long time coming. If you know me, you know. Since I have a little bit more time on my hands these days and since we are going through some serious issues in this modern day society, I have decided to go ahead and start a charitable organization to help our local women owned businesses and start ups with an annual scholarship.. (hopefully biannually.) Over the course of the next few weeks I’ll be working with my lawyer in creating a legitimate charity and filing for a 501(c)(3), establishing an advisory board, creating a website and start fundraising.

Right now I will be selling cheesecakes and taking 50 percent of the sales to not only start this organization but to also start contributing towards the scholarships. I am taking pre-orders starting now and will have a link you can order from. If you are interested in helping with this start up and or being on the advisory board, please feel free to reach out.. applications for advisory board members will be available in the next few weeks.

Im hoping with the community’s help, to grow this organization into something wonderful. A few years ago we attempted to start and build another food truck specifically for pay it forward meals and meals that we were making to help the less fortunate. No bellies should go hungry. I would like to try to get this concept off the ground as well as use this particular food truck to help women entrepreneurs get their mobile food business started. We would help show them the ropes. Teach them all the legalities, as well as allow them to rent the food truck out to test the waters. This is just one of the many opportunities we could grow into. The possibilities are endless, and with several emails and inboxes full of women owned businesses asking me for advice, I think this is something much needed.

For now… Here is the link to purchase smoked cheesecakes from my company Amber Scullery. Smoked cheesecake is something very unique I do every year for the holidays and they taste amazing! Choose from Apple Crisp, Cherry, Apricot and Salted Caramel.
