2019… Happy New Year!

Wow, is all I can say about 2018. It was one of the most trying years I have had. I started a restaurant, lost and gained loved ones, sold my entire life and moved to Arizona, got a new food truck, learned about myself and what Im capable of, stepped all the way out of my comfort zone… just to name a few. But I would not have changed one thing for the world. 2018 MADE me grow. Made me grow into a better mother, business woman and self. Even though it was one of the hardest years of my life, it was one of my best. 2018 was the year of change and growth. Those two hand in hand are not easy things to go through. Its hard for me to write this as my eyes start to tear up. Life is never easy, nor are the things I had to do this year in order to climb the ladder of success. I miss home, I miss my old life and I miss my family and friends. But I had to do what I had to do so I could change the outcome of the path I was going down.

Recap of 2018: I lost a loved one who I thought would be apart of my life forever. It just wasnt ment to be. I started a pop-up restaurant, that ended up failing after I put 100 percent of my time and energy into it. My life wasnt heading in the direction I wanted it to, so with the help of a friend, I got rid of everything in my home and moved to Arizona with only 3 suitcases to start a new life. Leaving one child behind so I wouldn’t disrupt his life any further. I then set out on a mission to build a career. Going back and forth on the idea of either starting a restaurant or a new foodtruck. I bought a foodtruck. A very nice customized foodtruck. I gained new amazing friends here in Arizona. Reconnected with old friends through social media. Ive started booking the foodtruck for many events starting this week.

2018 was hard, but amazing.

I lived and I learned.

I lost and I gained.

And I appreciate every single step I had to take.

2019.. Im focusing on me, my children and my business. I WILL grow to the levels that I never even fathomed before this past year. I never once thought before Id become a celebrity chef. I never once before could see a day where I owned multiple successful businesses. I never once before thought Id actually be happy with what Im doing in life. But that has all changed since 2018. Now I know I can do anything I set my mind to. Now I know that I can say No to hard ships and do what I want to be happy. Its not going to be easy. I never said it will be easy. But once you realize that you are in control of your destiny, there is no stopping you. Heres to a better me in 2019. The best me.
